The Department of Commerce, University of Kerala, in collaboration with UKSRC Alappuzha, is organizing a 5-Day National Workshop on Innovations in Research Methodology, Ethics, and Scholarly Writing for researchers, faculty members, and research scholars from various institutions.

In recent decades, innovations in research methodology have gained global prominence, particularly with evolving academic standards and ethical guidelines promoted by institutions such as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). In India, the importance of quality research has further intensified with the quality benchmarks of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the vision outlined in the National Education Policy 2020.

Against this backdrop, the workshop aims to provide a comprehensive platform for participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in contemporary research practices. The programme is multidisciplinary in nature and is particularly beneficial for scholars in the social sciences. It will feature expert-led sessions on advanced research tools, ethical practices in research, scholarly writing techniques, group discussions, interactive activities, and hands-on exercises designed to strengthen research competence and academic writing.
