Topic of Research BEHAVIOURAL DYNAMICS IN ESG INVESTMENTS: THE POWER OF NUDGES AND CHOICE ARCHITECTURE
This study explores how behavioural nudges and choice architecture can influence retail investors’ decisions to engage in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing, addressing the persistent gap between investors’ positive attitudes toward sustainability and their limited real-world participation. The study aims to deepen understanding of the psychological factors shaping ESG investment behaviour and to propose effective, ethical nudge strategies that can empower retail investors, support sustainable financial systems, and align individual investment actions with broader societal and environmental goals.
