The students of M.Com Blue Economy and Maritime Law, of the Department of Commerce, University of Kerala, have conducted an exhibition on blue economy and maritime law titled – The Maritime Show ‘THARANG’. The exhibition was highlighted with the 3D outline of the Vizhinjam International Sea Port and the model of Beypore Uru. The primary objective of the exhibition was to give a basic knowledge about the importance and need of the marine economy. The exhibition was enriched with several models and charts describing various international sea routes, Maritime resources, supply chains, Maritime Law, ships, and various ports. The students also exhibited a plethora of fishing equipment collected from the fishermen of Poovar coastal area.
