Dr G Raju qualified NET-JRF of UGC in 1988 and started his career as a lecturer at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam. In 1998, he moved to the University of Kerala. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he has served as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor.
Biography
Dr G Raju is an approved Research Guide in Commerce and Management at the University of Kerala, guiding PhD scholars, M.Phil, M.Com, and MBA students in their research activities. He has produced 11 PhD graduates in Commerce and Management, with 2 more scholars having submitted their theses. He has authored 4 books and contributed 50 research articles to scholarly journals, including Management Accountant, Yojana, SEDME, Bank Quest, Southern Economist, University News of UGC, and Employment News. He has also chaired and presented papers at several national and international conferences.
He successfully completed 2 research projects for ICSSR, New Delhi, and the Ministry of Social Justice, Government of India, New Delhi. He was selected for the research award scheme of UGC from 2006 to 2009 and completed his PDF in 2009.
He is a life member of the Indian Commerce Association and the Indian Accounting Association. Additionally, he serves as an Editor and Editorial Board Member for various journals published in India. Since 2000, he has been the secretary of the Alumni Association of the Department of Commerce and held the position of Vice-President of the Kerala University Teachers Organisation (KUTO) in 2011, followed by President in 2012 and 2013.
