The Researchers’ Forum, Department of Commerce, organized "Summer School in Financial Econometrics: Mastering Panel Data Analysis" from 26–30 May 2025. The five-day academic workshop brought together distinguished resource persons: Dr. R.P Sabuj Kumar Mandal, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, IIT Madras Dr. Ekta Selarka, Associate Professor, Madras School of Economics Dr. Santhosh Kumar P. K., Associate Professor, Department of Economics, CUSAT The programme offered a concise yet comprehensive introduction to panel data techniques, combining theoretical insights with hands-on training using Stata. Participants learned to handle key econometric challenges—such as serial correlation, heteroskedasticity, and missing data—and apply advanced estimation methods in real-world research. The workshop enabled attendees to strengthen their analytical skills and confidently work with panel datasets.
